I love dark edgy films, such as OLDBOY, RED SHOES, MEMORIES OF MURDER, SPIDER FOREST. However, RAMPO NOIR--though it shed very little blood, was so psychologically sadistic it was extremely tough to watch. Yet--- the cinematography was so beautiful and mesmerizing, it was hard to look away.I'm glad I saw it, but could not watch it again. Cinematography--5 stars. nenjoyability 2 stars. Equals 3 stars.
